Tony has been having dreams - images of an eclipse, in the dead of night. He hardly has the time to think of visions and their meanings, though. His family is in shambles, and his grades are failing. He'll be happy just to celebrate his sister's birthday without another night's bruise from his father.
Tony's coworker, Claire, is hiding her own hardships beneath her sleeves. Stuck dealing with the ramifications of a past she didn't choose, she turns to self-harm as a coping mechanism. Only, she's starting to realize that she can’t do this forever.
These dark places are where the light breaks in, and where the path to being reborn begins.
