“All Of The Poems In The World” started out as an original short story, written by one of RBRN’s own. After this short story came a subsequent screenplay, and it was with the creation of this piece that Grace decided to create her own artwork to go alongside it.

In creating these original pieces, Grace did not want to use a stock photo of a woman, but she also did not want to remove personhood from the artwork altogether. With the script featuring a young woman confined to a life on the stage within “The Theatre of Glamor and Gore,” a dramatic and shadowy outline is not without precedent. Surrounding this outline is the subtle dabbling of starts, meant to look like they are somehow coming into direct contact with the outline of the girl in question. This comes into play as we understand that the main character (Maytag) finds herself calling out to The Maker of The Stars for some kind of help, and answer.

Altogether, creating this artwork was not only about finding something which might accurately represent the story - it was also about inviting the viewer in to imagine that they might be able to see themselves as a part of receiving the hope that is found within it.
